Transmission: TH-700-R4
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt with 3.23's and SLP Posi.
Spring choices

I am trying to decide what springs to run in my car, i want to remain close to stock ride hight but want to improve handling, i was thinking the Variable rate IROC springs? are they any good? let me know.

I was un-aware of variable rate Iroc springs.

I know that the Eibach pro-kit is only a minor drop if at all, and they're awesome for handling.

i could be wrong, ill check the computer at work, ither way what ever the IROC's had, i know the rear springs from the IROC and my RS were the same part number.

I know for a fact that Iroc spring are MUCH stiffer than RS springs.

...at least up front, and I'm fairly sure it's that way out back too, although I don't have numbers.

part numbers at work gave the same numbers for the rears, both are the variable rate springs in the rear(thats where i got that from) and the fronts are different, and are constant on the IROC.


handleing wise, how would the IROC's compare to the Pro kit Eibachs

That doesn't mean they were the same from the factory, just that a repro company doesn't want to stock two different rates of spring when most people would only buy one.
