Rear Shocks
Hey guys, I am probably going to be replacing my rear shocks. I get some tire spin and my car makes a "thud" noise in the rear when I accelerate hard. I am probably going to go to Sears to get some new ones. I think the brand is Monroe. Would that be an ok brand to go with? What would you guys recomend? Im not looking for the best shocks out there, just something near or better than stock specs. Thanks for any help.

A thud, you say? I'd bet dollars to donuts it's the rubber transmission mount. When the rubber wears out, the transmission tends to fly up and hit the tunnel when you launch. I had this problem on my car, so I replaced the worn stock mount with a $30 Energy Suspension mount from Summit.
