New Spohn coiloves and a STB

Hey guys. Does anyone know if the new coilover kit from Spohn would work with an edelbrock carb car strut tower brace? I am interested in them, but would like to keep my STB for sure, specially if I am running the coilovers.

Thanks.

I asked the exact same question a month or two ago. I actually found the thread again earlier today by searching for strut tower bar

The conclusion was that his parts are designed for stock cars, so you will probably have to modify his plate system a bit to fit your bolts through.

Honestly, you're better off just welding in the STB bracket mounts. Weld them to the strut tower and that way you don't have any bolts going through the tower to interfere with his plate system.

This is what I wat thinking. Makes sence, as long as it would still be as strong as bolts.

Thanks man!

It'll be stronger than bolts. You're always better off welding in suspension parts than bolting them in (i.e. subframe connectors).

Just make sure there is a way to take the bar out....u'd have a bitch of a time getting your engine out with a strut tower brace in that engine bay

well, if you just weld the two strut tower stb mounts, there should be no problem.
