manual steering RACK!?!?
Hey, was going to convert to a manual steering box from a s10. Also wanted a manual steering rack, was wondering if one from like an s10 would work, or if there is some car I could take one off of, thanks.

A manual steering box is a direct bolt in. There is no direct bolt in for a manual rack so any manual rack you find needs to be adapted. Most common is a Pinto rack but the tie rods and input shaft need to be modified. Mounting tabs need to be welded to the k-member to install the rack. The steering shaft usually needs to be modified also since it doesn't sit in the same position for a rack as it does a steering box.
If you want cheap manual steering, install an S10 manual box. If you want a rack and pinion steering, order a kit.
