I don't have a Ws6 Trans Am, but I would like to know if Ws6 springs are lower than my F41 Trans Am. I want to lower my car slightly, about 1 inch.
If anyone knows, let me know.
Thanks.

Nope. Buy an Eibach Pro-Kit. That lowers the front approx. 1.3" from stock and the rear 1.0" from stock. If your car has quite a few miles on it, its probably a bit lower than stock, so lowering it another inch or so could be accomplished with Eibach Sportline springs or DropZone springs. I'm using DropZones, but I don't have my front pair installed yet so I can't really put up any pics yet.

The only issue with lowering is scraping. Which depends on the obstacles you have to drive over.

If the "WS6" springs in question are older and/or have more miles than the "F41" springs, then a car with those springs will probably lower. And bottom out more, and handle worse, and ride worse.
They're both old worn-out junk factory springs. Don't waste your money on a bunch of old worn-out used factory springs, even if there are cars running around nowadays with "WS6" on their bumpers and wheel caps and that combination of numbers and letters gets you feeling all fuzzy inside. Old worn-out springs are old worn-out springs no matter what.
I'd suggest a set of Moog/TRW springs, straight out of the catalog, for about a 87 IROC. Look for the fronts that have a rate of a little over 700 lbs/in, I don't recall the part # although it might be 5662. The rears you want are CC635.
Or go aftermarket.
