15" wheels

ok im looking at buying 15" rims for my 86 bird... i like the cragar modular look... i want 15x8 what bs do i need 3-3/4 or 5-1/4... i have no clue how measuring rims works like offset and stuff... i did search but still dont know what 15x8 rims to get....

Axle/Gears: Strange 12 Bolt, 3.42
For a 15x8 rim, 4.5in backspacking works best..thats what mine are. If you decide to go with a 15x10 rim go with 5.5in backspacing.

so 15x10 will work.. what about the front will they rub anywhere.. what do you think about 15x8 fronts and 15x10 in the back... im still trying to see what bs is available for the rims i want.....
im going to be going with a smog legal 383 so i want lots of traction in the back...
