Torque Arm ?

How important is it to have torque arm for drag racing and how fast do I need to run to take advantagefrom it.

the factory design is crummy to start with,mounting to the transmission kills the tranny mount also puts unnessisary stress on the tailshaft i personally have been using the jegster tq arm for over 7 years no broken mounts awesome traction.they now have the adjustable jegster which helps you to change pinion angle if you have lowered suspension,i also like the BMR tq arm both manufactuers rank extremely high in my book,please understand i am not discrediting the others out there,i just like the TQ arm to mount to the tranny tunnel rather than the tranny.
