I have an 86 sports coupe I rebuilt the suspension added koni shocks, replaced lower control arm bushings( should have used urthane bushings) Used some kind of performance strut( forgot name brand) added 23/24 mm rear bar, quick ratio gear box. am I close to a stock Iroc? I know I need to put the bigger sway bar up front and a wonder bar.

F41 is an RPO code for the suspension setup. I'm not sure exactly what the specs are of each component of the F41 suspension setup, but I do know there were other RPO's for other suspension setups. My '89 IROC-Z for example had the FE2 suspension setup which was supposed to be the better of the two. I'm not sure if the F41 setup ever came in an IROC-Z, but I'm not an expert at this or anything so I'm not gonna say its impossible. I recommend searching all forums for both "F41" and "FE2" and see what other people have said on the subject.

 

Ok I will search those thanks! I did contact Tom at house of Camaros, he said the the standard Iroc and f-41 are the same springs.

 

according to my notes from when i was looking at springs, moogs replacements are the same between the two... i donno if that really means anything though.
