Progressive vs. Linear, Who's ridden in both?
Lowering springs seem to be a very popular mod for suspension so this may give some insite for those who haven't changed them yet. I know the popular Eibach Pro-kit is linear in front and prog. out back, not sure about Eibach Sportlines, Intrax, etc.
So if you've upgraded to any, I would like to hear which one you like better and why. Thx.

For pure performace, on a track, or at auto-x, I prefer to drive on linear, I will say that a progressive spring is much more comfortable on the street. The reason I like the linears, is it makes me as a driver more consistant. A better driver, might be just as fast on progressives, but I will consede that I am not that good. I just have a bit of a harder time, finding the 'edge' with a progressive spring.
That is just my personal pref. I am sure opinions will vary.

I actually wasn't overly pleased with the Pro-kit rears. They seem softer than my stock WS6, and when first installed (2 months ago) the rear seemed to bounce a lot going down the road, but that seems to have subsided, for the most part. or I have just gotten used to it.
I am thinking this could also have been cause by the Bilstein shocks I installed at the same time. high rebound rate, maybe. Just a guess really.
Does anyone know if the stock rears are linear? I can't remember off the top of my head what they looked like.
I might remove the rear Eibachs and cut half a coil off the WS6 and go from there. The rear Eibachs didn't lower it all that much anyways.
The front are awesome, nice and stiff with a linear rate over 700#. when first installed I couldn't even compress the front end while pushing on the fender (with new Bilstein struts), now I can compress it, barely.
