Steering noise?
When I turn my wheels completely to one side or the other, it makes this kind of weird noise, like a combination grinding/whining. The front also feels a little rough when I turn like that, I don't like it at all and avoid doing it. If I back up just a tiny bit from one extreme, it doesn't make that noise. Any ideas what this is? Is it likely the power steering pump, or some piece of the front suspension? I'm not really familiar with what the different parts of the front suspension are and what they do, at least in regards to steering. Any ideas folks?
PS: I had an alignment done not a month ago, and they didn't mention anything wrong with the front steering/suspension, so I'm not nervous/confused. Thanks!
