suspension resto

Alright guys....need some help quick. I want to replace the bushings on all of my suspension. The car is a 1988 GTA, 350 TPI. I want to get this done before I leave for the navy in november. I also am posting a topic about putting another motor transmission, and rearend in the car.

The front a-arm, rear lower control arms, and panhardbar need to be removed for the bushings to be pressed in (12 bushings total). I dont have access to the proper tools so I take my stuff to a shop to have bushings pressed, if you go this route expect some downtime. The torque arm, swaybar endlink, and tranny mount bushings are easy, nothing needs to be pressed, can be done in an afternoon with spare time to drink some beer.

See no one said anything about which bushings had to be pressed in...can this be done at home though? Using 1 small socket and 1 bigger socket i woulda tried but i couldnt get my panhard out earlier this week just put it back together cause i had to leave early morning.

Im trying not to spend any money is this possible with just a clamp. I also want to do my LCA bushings...how hard are we talking here.

You could do it at home with vice grips and other tools, I've seen this but never successfully done it myself. Alot of places use an actual press. Unfortunately for me, I dont even have a work bench w/ vice grips so everything goes out to a shop.
