AJE 2" dropped spindles/struts
Does anyone know about AJE's 2" dropped spindles and strut combo? I called AJE and talked to Jim, and he said that they looked pretty much like the 4th gen pictures on their website. He said that the strut is built into the spindle, which isn't what I'd hoped, but it's a start. I'd be curious to know if anyone has used these?
I was also thinking about fabricating a set of spindles for my car until the dropped spindles are back into production, but I wasn't sure how well they would hold up and how to go about designing them. FST Motorsports fabricated a set for a customer's car (and many other race companies make their own stuff as well) so I figured that it can be done. Pirate4x4 has a nice write-up about different metals and their uses, and I'll probably be aquiring some suspension and metal books here soon as well.
Thoughts?
