Thanks for the replies. So Penske seems to be the top dog? No others rival it?

LOL!!! I wish.
I am a student in a very lucky situation. I go to Northeastern University and am a Mechanincal engineering student. Every 2 semester we have something called "co-op" where the school finds the students a job in their major so that you can get a feel for it and start to make conections. Well, most kids have to use the $ they make to pay for school, but my dad is a proffessor at NU so I go for free, and I live close enough that I comute, so no room and board. Hence all the $ I make on co-op goes 100% into the car. I work 5 days a week here at this engineering place, and make about $510 bucks a week and then I work 1 day as a waiter just cuz my girlfriend works there. So I make about 550 bucks a week and pay no bills at all. I am taking this great oportunity to build a crazy Camaro. I should be done this spring. Then in a couple semesters I will have this kind of $ flow again and be able to plan the next buildup, 500hp motor this season, next season I am supercharging it and running EFI to get me up to the 650 hp area, not at the flywheel but at the wheels. Gonna be a good few years.
Well ^^^that^^^ is why I want to know what the "best" of everything is from acctual users. I also believe in spending a bit more on really good parts that will set the car off.
So bakc on topic, anyone run different shocks than struts?
Are there better companies for shocks and then others for struts?
Thanks again everyone,
-Dennis
