I'll try to get a better picture.

Well, you can put any center caps on a wheel really.

However there's a VERY good chance they ARE american racing wheels... Eagle Alloys make knock offs and they used to have a wheel that looked like that called the Series 54. It's discontinued though, I'm sure American Racing discontinued theirs. It's not a very "desireable" wheel for cars now days.

I'd send an email to American racing and ask. Also, is there a reason you need to know? Do you need new ones or just curious?

I'm pretty sure the center cap says American Racing.
But quite a few wheel companies made those back in the day. My friend has a set from Cragar sitting in his garage.
I forget the name but like was mentioned I think they are all discontinued at this point.

Well its just that they are advertised as AR rims, and they are pretty good quality, and they fall in my price range. [not a lot of money]
They will be out of date over here, but they are in good condition, and might just brighten up an old 83 TA.
Thanks for the help, its appreciated.

Wrote to AR and heres the reply:

"Greetings!

Yes, we did make those wheels. It was our series 52 Gambler wheel, but they have been discontinued for quite a few years.

I hope this information helps! Thank you for your interest in American Racing! "

The only thing they didnt say was roughly when these were in production.
Anyone know, or could hazard a rough guess?
