80's corvette rims

Engine: 305 tbi
80's corvette rims
is there any way to put a set of 80's set of corvette rims on an 89 rs. the lug pattern is right, but the off set isn't. was looking at spacers, but want to make sure they'll work before i buy. someone gave me the rims for free. i think there from an 87 vette.
