Different kind of loose steering wheel
My steering wheel is loose but it's not the small bolts way down in the steering column. Mine is loose at the left side pivot pin for the tilt steering. I've checked it out and the hole that the pin goes in is wallowed out. I figure whoever had the car before me used the steering wheel to help them get in and out of the car. Anyone had this problem or know of any way to fix it aside from changing out the steering column? This is on a 1992 z28.

Me also, I've tightened the 4 screws but I don't think that's it. I'll see when I get it back together. Mine would flex and not let the rod for the high beam switch to come on. Tore it down to tighten the bolts and they weren't that loose at all. This on on my 92 RS
