need info FAST, upper strut bushing
Hello people,
need to know if ES has a poly upper strut bushing(thing it sits on) mine were shot when my dad went to put the struts in while im here at school. Autozone said 80 for the part(im guessing they were going with the GM version), I said that wasnt right. Anyone know if theres any other performance versions of this?
If failing that, what are the dimensions of it.
Or is it not actually a bushing? is it a mount of some type?
Thanks

If you are talking about the strut mounts (circled in red in the picture) on the front, energy suspension would not have them. You have two options: first you can get them from GM or Spohn; or you can get Spohn's special mounts for more camber/caster and ability to mount coilovers. This mount contains a sealed bearing surrounded by rubber. When you turn your wheels the mount allows the strut to turn as well as act as an upper control arm. Hopefully that helps.
thank you for the info.
yea i realized after posting(upon searching for a slightly off the wall set of keywords) that he might have been talking about the strut mount. on the phone he said strut bushing, so that was my first idea, but then after looking around not finding anything I finally thought maybe he was mistaken. And wow, it ended up being the strut mount. He got something from the junkyard and is looking for them at a decent price.
