sway bar changes and steering ratios

I got this cool book for easter called standard catalog of firebird 1967-2002 and it says in 1986 ws6 went from 34mm/23mm sway bars to 36mm/24mm is that true? also it said my 91 has a 14:1 ratio steering and my parts car formula has 12:7 should i upgrade to the formula steering?

WS6 changed thruout the years.
So yes, your car could turn faster with the later year steering box, and handle better with the 36mm front bar and 24mm rear bar. Maybe not enough to notice off hand.
While you are at it, install a stock IROC wonderbar (otherwise know as a steering brace) Stock wonderbars are less $$$ to get ahold of.

My 2 cents,

George
