Redoing Suspension

I bought the car awhile back, and now's the time to redo the suspension and I want to do it right. I was wondering where I could look or go for factory WS6 springs or better? I'm new to the third-gen family so I'm slowly learning bit by bit.

edit: I posted this in the wrong section earlier, could have sworn I was here.

Classic Industries is one of the better companies if you're looking for stock parts. I order from them all the time (get 15% with their credit card) and they're great. You could also check Hawk's and local F-body shops.

If you want aftermarket springs then I suggest you look into Eibachs, Intrax, and Hotchkis. They all seem to be popular companies and offer a variety of different lowering and performance level springs.

I just recently went with Eibach pro-kit and kyb gr-2's. Prokit was 249, shocks/struts were 135. Thats all you need, no hardware or anything. Installation wasnt terrible if you know the basics and have a spring compressor for the front. I was worried before i put everything in that it wasnt what i was hoping for. But, it give the car a great stance, great handling, and it is only noticeably lower when compared side by side with stock height. No tire rub or anything crazy. Thats my experience with suspension, I'd recommend my combo to anybody for all around great.

Awesome, I was going to go with just the stock height springs, but I may grab the eibachs now.

Going through the suspension rebuild process also... Used all new MOOG steering components, replaced all the OEM rubber bushings with Energy Suspension poly's, replaced the panhard rod with an adjustable Edelbrock rod, all purchased from Summit Racing. Also changed out the OE springs and installed the Eibach Pro-kit springs. NOTE: If you really want to lower the car, dont choose these springs!!! (I'm taking them out and replacing them with Sportlines). One last thing, since you're going to the trouble and expense to rebuild the suspension, dont forget to replace the upper strut mounts. Ecklers is running a discount special on them right now. Eckler's Camaro item # 721007. Or, you might consider the Spohn fabricated spherical upper strut mounts (that was my choice), item # 953. Spohn Performance, Inc..

Good luck!
