155/80 tires on a 15x7 rims possible?
would 155/80 tires on a stock 15x7 inch rim work? i want to go as small as i can for the front

...by putting a tire on a wheel thats ouside of reccomended width, you risk yourself as well as the people driving around you. Especially running way to small of tire for the width of the wheel. You turn to hard or hit the brakes hard and the pressures' slightly low, and all-the-sudden you're riding on nothing but rim......
go with a tire that fits properly or save some $ and get some new wheels....

i'm running a 205/70/15 tire on the front of mine with no issues, have about 4000 miles on them since i put them on. they are 26.5" tall and about 6.5" wide. i bought mine used for $40/pair.
