Drag radials for all 4s or rears only?
Hi everyone ;
I mainly drive my car in weekends for performance oriented cruising so I decided to change my tires to drag radials for better traction. I'm currently running 4 season Toyo tires on stock gta rims. My question is should I get drag radials for all 4 wheels or just for rear wheels would be enough? And are drag radials unidirectional so if I buy 4 tires I can rotate front-back when the back ones wear-out.
Thanks

If you do road course or autocross racing, then getting the softer tires on all 4 corners should help for cornering but for dragstrip or normal street driving, only the rear tires need the traction. Best straight line performance has narrower tires on the front for less weight and less rolling resistance so rotating front to rear isn't practical.

don't run them on the front. The reduced tread depth cause enough issues in the rain on the back, I wouldn't even want to imagine having to drive in a good rain with them on the front....
-They're not made for handling, the sidewall is too soft.

the Nitto 555R drag radials are for the rear only on these cars...
but you can put Nitto 555R-IIs on the front.. thoes are their super soft autocross tire.... similar compound to the DRs, but the sidewalls are stiffer.. they handle cornering forces much better.
