Tokico Illumina Struts

Let me just say these struts are AWESOME for there price...5 way adjustable that is a real adjustment that you can feel. I really like them, car is tight as hell with them. I have kyb gas-adjust on the back and well lets just say the back end of my car feels A LOT more loose then the front. I got these for $180 from a member on here and they were brand new. I think a whole set(shocks/struts) is around $400 so i did well. As another alternative to the top dogs - Bilsteins and Konis, these feel damn good for there price. A lot better then any stock stuff or KYB for sure. Just thought id share to others who are looking for a set of replacement struts/shocks soon.

I've been running them for years. Get the rears and finish it right.

Interesting, where do you get Tokico? These are middle of price range between KYB and Koni sorta thing?

Yeah they are somewhat in the middle, I got my full set F/R for like $400 + shipping off E-bay, there's a few Tokico retailers on there. They are 5 way adjustable. But not everyone likes them, people that get really technical with the tuning of their suspension do not like how the compression/rebound adjusts across the range. To each their own. While they do have a point, in my experiences with them I don't see a problem. But thats the thing with suspension tuning, everything is relative because not everyone runs the same exact combo of swaybars, springs, etc, etc.

and a lot of it is preference too...

I do need to get the rears if i can find anyone with them for sale, but im also keeping an eye out for a set of Koni yellows. KYBs dont cut it for the rear of my car anymore.

I love highway on and off ramps
