need help with suspension
so i replaced my struts about a month ago and this past weekend i replaced the ball joints springs and endlinks, and then had an alignment. after a couple of days the struts are now making a grunt type noise, and my car sits like 2 inches higher than before.
1. could the struts be bad since i didnt change it out at the sametime.
2. when i changed the springs i matched them up and they were the same height, old vs new

well i figured out what happened, i jacked up the front of the car and noticed that the spring was rubbing on the side where it goes up into, so i slid up the spring compressor and compressed it and then used a pry bar to slide the spring into place and it just popped back in, lifted up the arm and then released the compressor. i guess when i did it the first time i released the compressor first so it just sat in there wrong. now there is no noise at all coming from the strut and the car sits perfectly,
