Anybody got weight jacks with a tubular k-member
I remember a really good thread with pics of somebody installing front weld in weight jacks, but i cant find it. I want to run them with my pro fab k member. also any info on the rear weld in setup would be great
Yeah the ones I run on all my cars are the non weld-in ones. Not sure if there is a weld in version for the rear, haven't seen one myself. But yeah for the fronts there is a weld in version and there is a good thread with pictures around here somewhere. Basically the stock k-member is removed and the pocket the springs sit in is modified with the weight jack parts. I'm not sure how that would work with an aftermarket tubular k-member, I would recommend getting pics/measurements from both the k-member builder and the weight jack builder, if possible even physically comparing both parts before buying.

I'm shopping for a k-member as we speak. Also a-arms since I have another wild idea.

thank you!
that seems like it will be very easy to do. ive got a pro fab kmember road race version with thicker tubing, but i guess they went out of business. i recently saw an ad in hot rod for S&W racecars new kmember and a arms, but they only offer coil over arms. i think their product is geared toward drag racing anyways. i may end up completely stripping mine and welding on some gussets. i also need to decide on what control arms to run. im leaning spohn so i can run heim joints
