I have an 89 RS camaro in desperate need of new rubber. i'm looking at 275 60 15's for the back or possibly 295 50 15's. i did some work with my tape measure and they look like they'll fit. does anyone know the widest tires that'll fit under that car?. right now the 215's are shot and they spin no matter what even on dry pavement. any advice is appreciated thanx

 

as far as i know 275 is the widest you can go on that wheel. 295 is like crazy wide and it would be really expensive. i'd say 245 or 255 would be a good width to go

 

ok cool, cuz i'm getting a deal from my friend who works at pepboys...tires for 60 bucks a piece...there good enough for now till i get new rims and drag tires. but it's pathetic my stock 305 can't keep the power on the ground cuz of the slicks i now have...lol
