Strut tower brace on a V6?

I want to get a strut tower brace, but I have a V6 and I want to be sure it's not going to hit anything. I was looking at the Edelbrock 3 point one. I heard one person say he had a BMR fit fine on his V6 car, but another person said that the brace will hit the A/C compressor. Does anyone know for sure?
