suspension hela stiff?

just replaced my shocks/struts and springs, kyb gr2, some napa oem replacment springs. also redid my whole steering: idler arm, tie rods, centerlink etc. i havent taken it for alignment yet but i drove it around the block just to see if it would settle n what not. the front seems crazy stiff. if i push on the fender it berely goes down at all. the only thing i can think is if i overtightened the control arm pivot points? is this possibly the casue and if so, how tight should they be? thanks in advance,

When you put it back together did you torque everything with the suspension loaded? Its very possible stuff is overtightened and/or binding. I don't remember the torque numbers off-hand, any good manual will have em. If you don't have a hard copy of any manual Autozone has online manuals with the torque specs for each bolt.

I think it feels nice and tight like a sports car again. What's the problem?

yes i torqued it with the car on the ground. and yes perhaps theres not a problem i just figured the front should drop a little if i sit on the fender, but perhaps the front is supposed to be a lot more stiff then the rear? seems maybe thats the case..... but again ima recheck the control arm pivot bolts incase.

yeah the front is stiffer than the rear because of the engine and other components way a lot compared to carpet and some accessories.

I dont think a person under 120lbs could move my car by pushing down

thats the way you want it

yea, i drove it over to get an alignment and it seemed fine, i guess i just wasnt used to it being stiff like it should be.
