Suspension stickies

Any chance someone could put together a sticky on suspension pieces? I haven't gotten into suspension just yet but I'm in the middle of a 383 stroker build and want to make sure the suspension will handle it. It's a 1991 camaro RS. Stock suspension. The car handles pretty good already, it's well kept and not driven hard (yet). I was told I should start with a rear sway bar and continue from there. What else should be considered? Could someone explain or show images of what each piece is?

I know this may be quite straightforward for some but I'm sure there's plenty of us out there that could use some good info.

Thanks.

i agree about the sticky.

from what i have read from doing a search or two.
these cars have to have sfc's if you make any power. also aftermarket lca's or boxed lca's are another place to help you plant the power. poly bushings and beefier swaybars. if you don't have a wonder bar they say that it will help to install one.

SFC's are not a mod, but a necessity: They keep the unibody from flexing (Many stock thirdgens have smallish cracks at the rear of the drip rail).
Here's Global West's version):

The steering box brace (aka Wonderbar) is another piece that is a necessity, IMO. The steering box area has a tendency to crack. The Wonderbar strengthens the area. In the following pic, you can see both the steering box brace (Global West's version) and a 36 mm say bar:

In the following pic, you can see Spohn's panhard, a solid 24 mm rear sway, Spohn's LCA's, and Edelbrock's torque arm:

I've used poly throughout.

Most members, I think, would agree that SFC's are the very first upgrade you should consider, then the Wonderbar. After that, I'd recommend new springs, struts and shocks. Then, well, have a plan.
