the low down on backspacing and offset

Im trying to understand all this backspacing and offset info and it gets alittle confusing with all you guys running different specs on your cars ans you all seem to have no issues. Im looking for some new wheels for my car so I can get rid of these stupid spacers I am runing up front. I hate them. I also have a 4th gen rear. I want to go with a budget wheel right now and Im looking at the TT2 wheels. I want to run the 9.5" up front but I also plan on doing a C5 brake upgrade and I kow the new rotor pushes the wheel out a little bit so I how can I take that into consideration when ordering new wheels? Can I just get a 9.5" wheel in the front with a 5.5"BS and call it a day or does this offset crap come into play? Also, I wanted a slightly deeper lip in the rear if possible and I want an 11" wheel back there so I think I may have to ditch the 4th gen rear and swap a 3rd backin to get my deeper lip. This brings me back to my issue with offset. AM I right in saying that I can using a 7" BS in the rear and still tuck the 11" wheel with minor work to the inside of the wheelwell? DOes anyonehave a site that breaks this down and shows the cause and effect of different BSing and offsets on wheels cuz im loosing my mind here trying to figure out what specs I need.
