What size spacers? [19x10 79mm offset]

I tried to figure it out with the info from this thread...
and I think I just confused myself even more.

What size spacers would I need to put 19x10" rims with a 79mm offset onto my 89 iroc?
[REAR ONLY]

&& would I have clearance issues? [at stock height]

Thanks much, I appreciate it.

I don't actually have the rims so I can't measure them, but I searched and I found some information on a few sites.

The Skulte site says the backspacing on C6 19x10 rims is 8.11", and they recommend 2.25" adapters.

Some other site that are selling 2006 C6 Rims say the backspacing is 8.60"

Which one sounds right?

Well, I bought them regardless. When I receive them I'll get the true backspacing.

If it's going to end up costing me too much, I'll just resell them.
I got them dirt cheap anyway.....here is a pic, what do you think?

With a stock brake set up I would not go more than a 6" back space. So you would probably need spacers. You could increase to 6.75" but it might rub and then you would have to do a bit of inner fender massaging with a hammer. Keep in mind the rim and tire height combined should not exceed 26.1".

I'm running this combo with a 4thgen rear + 1" spacer and the tire sits flush with the fender. Doesn't rub with a 295/35-19 which is a 27" tire.

It's lowered 2.25" in the rear and at least 2.5" in the front.

It's the oem 18x8.5 with a 275 tire and a 2" spacer left over from the wagon wheels. If I bought spacers for these specifically I'd use a 2.25"

Realize this is 7 years old but what springs did you lower your car with?

I started on eibach sportlines with some cutoff. Exactly how much I cannot remember, 1/3 coil? 1/4 coil? 1/2? Been too long. Now I'm on weight jacks.
