New shocks and struts need help!!!!!!
I only have 250-300 to spend on shocks and struts. I was thinking about Tokico HP Blue on ebay.
But After reading and reading on other peoples thoughts and opinions and I can't figure out if this is the way to go for a SMOOTH ride at STOCK HEIGHT.
I don't want any lowering stuff just better performance for cornering handling and a smoother ride than stock OEM performance from the factory.
I'm also looking to buy them and put them on very soon so any suggestions would be great.

I'm pretty sure that you can't get better handling and better ride than stock with just $250-$300 to spend on shocks. Sorry, but to get both, you are looking at alot of money.
Also, you probably aren't at "factory" ride heigh. Your springs have most likely sagged a good deal.

ok i'll wait till i have a bigger bugdet to do it right but i need recommendations for a daily driver that can have slightly better than stock perfomance and last just as long or longer than stock shocks.
I dont want any lowering kits just a basic upgrade from what I have.
Any suggestions working with lets say a 600 budget? give or take
i dont need race specs just a nice cruiser for a weekend warrior.

I've heard that Bilsteins make for a comfortable shock. I don't know if the ride would be better (definatly less bouncy) than the stockers, but the handling would be. The Tokico would be fine for a cruiser as well. Plus, they are adjustable. But, for performance, I would go with the Bilsteins. You might want to get more opinions than mine. My car is dreadfully rough on rough roads due to springs, bushings, shock settings, etc.
Come to think of it, I'd say that the KONIs on soft would do nicely with the stock springs.

I just ordered a set of KYB's (AJX rear, GR-2 front) that were just under 300 total at Summit. I have yet to get them in the mail along with my pro kit springs. They are greatly despised here but I hear they make for great daily driver struts if you're not looking for auto cross racing or anything.
