going to change my rear shocks. need advise

Engine: 350 tuned port. bolt ons
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.73
going to change my rear shocks. need advise

This sunday Im going to change the rear shock on my car. I need some advise tips to make the job go smooth. I only read about changing them but never did a live job. I do have to suport the rear end on jackstands right? thank your help.

dont know how i did do it but i remember that it was real easy there is 1 or 2 bolts up top that you have to pull back the carpet think i used the jack to lower the rear end dont know where i put the stands but a 1hr or 2 should do it!

I changed the rear springs last week in 30min with 2 hydraulic jackstands.
Yes if you lift the entire car on a lift you need a to support the rear end. It would be much faster leaving it on the floor and just lifting the rear untill you can unbolt the shocks and slide them out with the axle resting on the weels.
Also take only the right trackbar bolt out. And the upper 2 shock bolts are on the inside under the carpet. Hope that helps
