What rim to use for these slicks?
I have some 295/65/15 slicks. What rim do I need to use for my LS1 rear?
I currently use 295's in the rear now but they are 18" ZO6 wheels.
Looking for some cheapo rims to put the slicks on so I can take them to the track.

15x10 weld prostars, i'm assuming 4th gen width then it would be 7.5" BS

wow $200 a pop... I better let the piggy bank get a little fatter.
----------
I guess I could use these

They are kinda trailor trashy. I like the prostars, but I mean hell I do not drive the slicks on the street. Why do I need fancy ones...
Plus I may not be able to use them anyways. I have LS1 rear disk, 15's may be too small.

Save a bit more money. You'll also need longer wheel studs and the nuts/washers to go with those Weld rims.
Those steel rims in your link are stock car rims and only have 3-1/2" backspacing. They won't fit and are heavy.
I have ProStars on the rear because I got a good deal on them. They're 15" wide. I still have Draglites on the front. It doesn't look too bad but I'd like to get some Prostars on the front.

for ls1 rear brakes you will have to bust out the grinder regardless to make welds fit. The ONLY company that makes a 15" rim that fits over them is Bogart and they are substantially higher priced than welds. Check out ls1tech.com for pics of caliper griding.
