question on a couple things??? steering box and wheel fitment
I was wondering on my 87 Iroc vert the steering box has a Z cast into is that the high performance box? 12:1 I think, is there anyway to rebuild it and is there any companies like Sweet or AGR that can rebuild and modify it for any gains that can be made? also I want to run either the 17.9"x9.5" 18x10.5" z06 rims I think that is the right measurements for stock rims. I am buying oem rims not knock offs. I was also thinking about the c6 rims that are 18x9.5" and the rears are 19x11" something like that. I am replacing the springs with stock height or possibly the eibach pro springs. will the c6 rims still be ok or will they rub. what size spacers should be used on the c6 rims (anybody that is running them) on the c5 z06 rims I know it is 2" all around. Sorry for all the questions but I searched and didn't come up with anything. Thanks

The Z casting normally means it's a quick ratio steering box.
