-Earlier this yr I bought a v. low mileage '88 Iroc in mint condition and decided it was worth improving. So I'd like to thank some folks who I found and met here on this board that helped make things happen:
-Stuie Patterson over in Farmingdale for the top notch welding on the UMI SFC'S
-Dean a.k.a. VinCode88 for his buildup on a 10 bolt 3:23 Posi w/ the 1LE brakes
-Dean's brother Chris of TooKoolKustoms in Bohemia for the rear end install and also the T5 swap
-Ed Miller for his top notch LS1 brake and spindle setup that I just finished installing. One of the single most impt improvements made to date. Braking power overall is outstanding!

During the course of these and other mods the info I was able to gather here on this board has been great! and I'd like to thaank everyone for sharing their knowledge and experiences.

-some other things I encountered...after the T5 swap the car was sitting high and v. light on it's feet. so while doing the LS1 brakes up front I cut 3/4 turn off the front coils and 1/2 turn off the rears. The car sits nice, just a hair lower than stock....headers,free flow cat,magnaflow muffler and 2" tailpipes....air pump delete...coolant bypass @the TB, GMPP 1.6rr's and probably some stuff I've forgotten have helped make this a real nice fast road car....again THANKS!!
