suspension help

i just got a new 92 rs 305 tbi. it was completely stock except it has kyb agx struts and hoctkis sway bars, so im looking at the car on level ground and the pass rear is way lower than the rest of the car, so i replaced the springs with eibach sportlines and it still sits the same way, the shocks only have maybe 200 miles on them, does any one have any suggestion on whats causing this or is the kyb agx bad already and need replaced

Re: suspension help

Check your panhard rod

I've seen several cars leaning to the pass. side from the panhard rod being bent upwards during hard impact. if it's gone, time to replace with an aftermarket adjustable piece no doubt

Re: suspension help

well how much lower is the passenger side? i two have seen may cars that sit lower on that side, mine included. Mine is currently about 3/8" lower than the rest, and its noticeable. I do, however have sportlines, and all new UMI tubular suspension parts, including a adjustable panhard, and it did not affect the height of the car. the only piece that is old, is the upped panhard. I have been pondering to possibility of the upper rod being bent and causing this problem, but i have yet to check it out.

Re: suspension help

I was just browsing the suspension forum to find a fix for this. My passenger rear side sits 1.25" lower than the driver rear. I have lowering springs on the car which are about 2 years old but my buddy pulled them off to check them and they are the same height off the car; so we swapped the left and right rear springs and dropped the car but the same thing happened with the passenger rear. I will go ahead and check this today or tomorrow. Over certain bumps the rear suspension seems to 'bottom out' and the springs show wear on them from where they've been completely compressing. Hope this is where my problem lies.

Re: suspension help

I was basically going to suggest what 84_Z28 said. Swap the right and left side springs and shocks on the rear and see what happens. If it sags to the other side then you know you need new stuff. If it doesnt then I would suggest the panhard bar as previously said.
