I was wondering what everyone is using for the springs and shocks on the drag race only cars. I have been looking and still have not found any rear springs made for our cars. So post up what you got

comp engineering 90/10 struts up front with stock coil spring. Qa1 Coilovers in the rear in stock shock location. The coilover adjustability is nice to have when visiting different tracks.

Re: Question for the guys with drag only cars

For years I was using V6 springs front and rear. Koni SPA1 front struts and rear shocks.

Last fall I did the back half on my car and now use a coil over system on the rear. Early this year I finally changed out the front springs to some trick springs. With my power level, the V6 springs just didn't give me the weight transfer I needed.

Re: Question for the guys with drag only cars

Im happy as far as springs, struts and shocks go. Just wish I didnt use the south side lift bars non adjustable. My car has pulled a best 60 ft of 1.40 on a 28x10 drag slick.

Re: Question for the guys with drag only cars

for years i ran the v6 springs, then i was informed that 4th gen convertible springs are a bit softer, so i swapped them out.
its worth a few hundreths 60ft in my application, and it rides a lil smoother.

Stock v6 springs with strage adjustable shocks in the rear. Car 60 foots consitantly in the high 1.20's on drag radials. I ran the stock v6 springs in the front with koni spa1 struts untill I went coil over in the front. I now run 14" long 175 pound springs. Car still sees plenty of street time and drives nice.
