Is it possible?

Hey everybody I have got a issue or two here that I figured you fellow third gen drivers could help with. I have re-done everything in my suspension, poly bushings, hotchkis springs, ZR1 rims with big meats, brakes, adjustable panhard, lca's, front a-arms, koni struts, bilstein shocks, etc. The only thing I havent done is swap over to a tubular k, have my sfc or my lca relocation brackets welded on.

Now that I got the background out of the way I am wondering if it is possible to index spohn's tubular a-arms wrong? They are spring perched of couse and I also have strut tower tops to allow extra strut travel because of the hotchkis lowering springs. I just put my car back onto the ground after several weeks and the front sits higher than before. Granted I dont have my front end components, center link, or tie rods in, and the car has the zr1 rims up front and the oem irocs in the rear to check all the clearances for adapters but what the hell is going on?

The spohn units have 2 boxes welded in the spring perch that make indexing a snap, flat side of the spring fits right where it's supposed to be, everything looks as if it is right, but this stance in the front is terrible. The rear sits as if it should, but I can't get over the look of the front. It is higher than it was with oem springs, plus all the extra lowering parts should lower it to a decent height. I have heard they need to settle so I will let them for a few days, but driving it is out of the question since it has no brakes hooked up or tags. Anybody have any insight to this issue, can you index spohn a-arms wrong? Did I somehow manage to put the spring in upside down? What the hell is going on, please help me with this. Thanks for reading my rant.

Re: Is it possible?

well spohn F-ed up the first design and they lowered the car, maybe they F-ed up the second design and they raise the car.

they car does need to settle, but how much higher are we talking about here? 1"....2".... have you moved the car since you put they in? if not push the car back and forth a bit and things will settle down a bit and see where it leaves you.

Re: Is it possible?

Yeah I'm hoping that this isnt another one of their design f-ups as they are new, made maybe 2-3 months ago. They raised the car a good 2 or so inches. Which makes me think that the springs are indexed wrong, or possibly I put the wrong side spring in. My parents are thinking I put the rears in the front and vice versa but there is a major difference between the front and rear springs so I've already ruled that out. I haven't moved it yet, just lowered it off of the jackstands and i did sort of bounce the front end up and down a few times to no luck. I will try pushing it back and forth a bit and see if that will help any after a few days. I'd really hate to have to dig back into the spring pockets but if it's like this by the end of the week I may as well. I'm also going to bring this up with my older brother who is a certified mechanic to see what he has to say, but he doesn't have much of an open eye for aftermarket parts. Anybody else have any suggestions? Can it be possible to use the wrong side spring for the fronts?
