I was wondering what K members you guys have had luck with in a street driven car. I want to do a LS1 swap. I have seen that racecraft makes one that you can use fourth gen rack, anygood?. I was also wondering if anyone has tried to swap in a fourth gen front suspension. I have a complete front dropout with my LS1, with struts, brakes, control arms and everything

4th gen front suspension will not swap over, totally different design and layout.
as for k members, the stock one is very strong, and will work fine. there are many aftermarket ones and you will find people with gripes with every one. and most are made primarily for drag racing and not for street use, because of the stress of street/autocross style driving.
I like UMI's products. they offer 4th gen k members with dual bars under the engine and bracing out the wazoo built for the stress of street/autocross driving. they are working on a 3rd gen one, and its the only one i would buy, and i even might if it every gets finished.
