Will 'bowling ball' N89 style hub cap fit on N24 wheel?

Will 'bowling ball' N89 style hub cap fit on N24 wheel?
I've looked around and haven't seen anyone pose this question ... but do you suppose the bowling ball hubcaps from the N89 early thirdgen wheels would fit on the N24 turbo cast wheels? The wheel style is extremely similar. Light fabrication of the cap would be acceptable. Zip ties would be used to hold them on.
