Used Springs? Lenght?

Ok so I bought a set of used IROC springs, BZW's and NNL"s any way I can tell if they are still good? I mean they measure: BZW: 12" and NNL: 12". I'm trying to restore the ride height on my 89 ROC. It has Eibach Sportlines on it now and it looks and handles great, but it is just too low for my part of the country? Thanks for any insight.

Your chances are better than even that used stock springs are worn out.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: Used Springs? Lenght?

Real simple.

Are they used? Yes/no

Yes: then they weren't worth a crap to begin with, and besides, they're trashed.

No: then they're nott worth a crap.

Now.... how do you suppose I REALLY feel about stock springs?

If you got them for free, you got ripped off; because now, you have to PAY to have them disposed of. If you actually paid money for them, then, wellllllllll .... it's downhill from there.

Re: Used Springs? Lenght?

my car had lowering springs on it when i bought it and they did not agree with my roads. i put in some used springs from camaroheaven.com and it lifted the car 1.5" front and rear. these springs were not new by any means but they did the trick. i have not scraped the air dam since!!

Thanks, Bro. Thats exactly what I am doing! My car has Eibach Sportlines on it now and I can't get it in and out of the driveway. It's not like I can't afford new springs, I've just read too many stories about Camaro's looking like 4x4's after new "replacement" springs were added. I did call GM and ordered new isolators to go on them. It's funny that the aftermarket does not make a poly insulator for f bodies, told me they could never sell them. When I get the sportlines off I'll slap them on E bay. Thanks again!
