What front struts

My car is a steet strip car that is only driven on the street to the track and for some test and tune. I am having a ot of trouble decieding what front struts to put on. I know tha t90/10s will be the best on the track but I am afraid of how it will be on the street. I have been building this car for the strip but I quess that I am just not ready to take the final step to a strip only car. Should I put 90/10s on?

Re: What front struts

I just picked up some Tokico? Illuminas. Just got the fronts. They are five way adjustable and I hear good things about them. I have the fronts set at 4 on the road, and the front handles great with a smooth ride. Just need to work on the back now........you can get all four for 430 bucks off ebay. thats the cheapest ive found.

You say that these tokico struts are five way adjustable and I also heard good things about them. Does anyone know what the adjustments are...60/40, 70/30....90/10?

the tokicos are not strait line oriented.
you can get by with 90/10's on the street if you understand them.
you cant go accelerating through a corner, or while making a turn, or the front end will jump up.
kinda similar to letting off the clutch on a riding mower with the wheels turned.... it just goes strait.

Re: What front struts

They arent drag shocks but many people use them at the track are pleased. Steeda uses them on their drag mustangs. Ive been trying to find the settings but no luck.
