Clicking steering wheel

I did a search but didnt come up with anything. The steering wheel clicks once in each direction, kinda binds up too. Also has some spring loaded play in which it moves towards the 10 o'clock position. Is this the joint down there or could it be a messed up bearing?

Re: Clicking steering wheel

I was experiencing similar problems. Bought the GM kits to rebuild it, nylon ball, bearings, pins, etc. Re-built, No more problems. Dog gone expensive though!
