Lateral stress = knock?

Well, its pretty nasty outside around here, so maybe I can get some opinions on whats going on before I brave the elements...

Sometimes (and I do mean sometimes, its not very common) I'll get a knock type of noise when I put a lateral load on teh car while driving (eg: oing around a corner). When I push on the **** end sideways I can fairly readily product this noise. To my ear it almost sounds like the c-clips in the differential (havent taken down the GM rearend before, but it cant be TOO much different than a ford 8.8). The only other thing that would make sense to me would be maybe somethin to do with the panhard bar?

Tighten the bolts that hold the rear sway bar end-link brackets, to the chassis. Put about 55 ft-lbs on them. Also, take a look at the top mounts of the shocks; you'll have to pop your back seat out and pull the carpet back.

Yeah, I've been meaning look at the shock mounts; didn't even think about the endlinks though. When it gets a little less wet out I'll probably drop the wheels to check the brakes anyways, so that would be a good time.
