Re: eibach springs?

They will do it, cost a pretty penny though!!!! Try looking into maybe a different spring that is already in production.

Re: eibach springs?

i have the sportlines and they arent that much softer than the prokits....
fronts are within 15lb of eachother. the rears are the difference. i would just get an aftermarket set at 150-175lb and trim them to the height u want. simple... BANGO! ha

prob wat i'll be doing.

the cars not low enough for u?!?! haha u serious? i cant even get a jack under my front crossmember to jack my car up lol. its my rear i want alil lower for my taste

I removed the rear spring isolators and replaced them with a length of rubber hose slit down lengthwise. Should give you that extra drop your looking for.

Re: eibach springs?

yea thanks krisb410.... i knew bout that, but i have true duals so i def dont need that extra 1/2" drop yet... im going to be doing serious mods to the car... 500hp383, more frame stiffning, 6 point roll cage, gona be droppin the tank for the walbaro255lph pump. jegster shorty tq arm. yadda yadda and im gona cut into the floor board a bit to tuck the muffler up about 1-2" for more clearance and thats when im taken out the rear spring isolators.

86irocterror... custom springs are not worth it unless ur AUTOX racing lol, even then most just use higher spring rates and cutem. rears with 700lb front sportlines/prokits need a good 150lb rear spring. u could get away with 175lb.

street car
700lb front/ 150lb rear
street racing
700-750lb front/ 150-175lb rear
autoX
800lb front/ 200lb rear

i'll prob end up goin 750/175 if i ever do it agian.
