Manual Rack Conversion

I have done the search but it seems to mainly pertain to power rack set ups. My car sees limited street use and I would like to convert it over to manual rack to save as much weight as possible for the drag strip. Any one done this? If so, how difficult was it? I read that a 89-up tbird rack will work but cannot find one in manual.

Re: Manual Rack Conversion

A manual rack needs a bunch of modifications. A manual steering box from an S10 is a simple bolt in.
