It's considered a non-wear item, so you may have to resort to the dealership.

HEY! Thanx for reply!

Look, when i move my wheel, i get some play, and it comes from where Pitman goes into Center Link! I bought new center link already, and going to do alighnment on my car 2morow, and i thought that i migth as well get Pitman arm, and it turns out i cant!!

I will see if new Center link Solves the Problem!

Re: Pitman Arm!?!?

That's the second time I've seen someone think their pitman arm is worn out. As stated above, it's a non wear item. The only time it needs to be replaced is if it's damaged (bent).

Now older cars such as first gens had a ball socket as part of the pitman arm. These could wear out.

The first gens also had both idler arm pivots on the idler itself. This makes the 1st gen center link a non-wear item.

I've even seen mechanics state that a 3rd gen requires a new pitman arm (because of play at that joint). With the way center-link/pitman-arm/idler-arm pivots get moved around between the years it is an easy mistake to make.
