V-6 Suspension V-8 in bay

First i'd like to say that im new here and this is my first post. So i apoligize if my ettiquette isn't the norm. Ok now background first and then my question.

I have a 1982 Berlinetta, it was a V-6 car. After 235,000 the V-6 was retired as a boat anchor (no offense to any v-6 owners ). A 350 was dropped in place of the original and the tranny too. As is easy to figure out the front end likes to scrape pavement every once in awhile at the cost of my oil pan. I was wondering if its possible to put in the front components from a Z-28 suspension of the same year to help bring the nose up some, and is this possible without any major fabrication i.e. welding. I've been thinking about this solution to my problem since the small block was put in but nobody I know has tried this, Hopefully someone has here on ThirdGen and any opinions/experiences/wisdom would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: V-6 Suspension V-8 in bay

Yeah all you need to do is swap the springs to bring the nose up but I would look at the condition of the shocks as well and replace them while your at if they look cruddy.

Berlinetta's did not have rear swaybars I dont think.
The fronts are also pretty small

Get the larger swaybars, 36/24.
