Ideal tire size for 18's ???

I'm ordering a set of staggered 18's.

18x7 front, and 18x8 rear.

Just wondering what the widest size tire I can fit in the rear w/o having to grind on the bump stop and roll the inner lip??

I used to run a 275/40/18 rear on my car but had to roll the quarters. However my car is lowered 2 inches. A swap to a 275/35/18 fixed any rubbing issues. Id recommend that size rear for you and prolly a 245/35/18 front tire.

Have not ordered them yet, but looking at 4" front and 5" rear??? Is that right?

My car sits at stock height and scrapes going into my drvie... it's low enough for me, but if I ever do go any lower, it will be a Air Ride Tech kit.
