CANT DECIDE... NEED EXPERT ADVICE
Well my ProStreet '84 came out from under the tarp this weekend for the first time this season. Obviously theres still TONS of work left, but i had some questions on my choices. I am going to retain the stock 3rd gen front end setup, meaning no front subframe conversions. I was looking at spohn's website and was thinking this:
Spohn Mild-Steel Tubular Lower Control Arms with Delrin Bushings
Spohn Pro-Drag Coil-Over Kit
Lakewood 90/10 Struts
Adjustable Camber Bolts
Does that sound like a decent setup? I don't know much about building cars with the potential to stand on the back bumper, but that is my goal.
I will be running a cookie-cutter 10 point cage and i will bend/fab my own 11th and 12th points, attempting to tie into the strut plates.
I'm just affraid i'm going to touch the top of the struts together the first time i really lift the front end.
i've seen bottoms of oil pans open up on the track from coming down too far and bottoming out I am affraid of things like that.
